The songs on this EP are like journal entries, when the feelings are deep and the questions feel urgent. They are intense in the moment, but then sometimes just working through the inner thoughts by putting them into words and a flight of melody, some understanding of the experience becomes illuminated.

Life for us has also been really beautiful and light, but the times that were dark seemed to gravitate towards songwriting as a catharsis. There is some heaviness to the songs on these last couple projects, but also hope. The weight of words, the weight of sound. We have carried that weight, but have also learned how to put it down, and along the way continued to ask 'Show Me How'.
